The housing together with the electronics and connections was verified through means of a vibration test. During the test the tested internal frequencies had to agree with those of the FEM Model. This guarantees that the calculated strains derived from the FEM analysis are correct.

These devices are taken from the aeronautics industry, the video cassette recorders and monitors used are modified with the necessary additional electronics and mounted in housings appropriate for the thermal and mechanical conditions of the ISS.
